​Echoing the sound tradition of the Desert Winds, the Honor Winds fosters a tuition-free music education program that focuses on lifelong musicianship within its students. Representative middle school and high school winds and percussion players from across the valley come together to create life-mirroring musical art. The Honor Winds provides yearlong music education programs that include master classes, leadership training, and performance opportunities that serve to improve our entire music education community. Our Middle School Honor Winds are conducted by Monica Guido and David Martinez.  Our High School Honor Winds group is conducted by Dr. Charles A. Maguire.
